Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Loyd went home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 19, 2014, with his family by his side.

Ronnie was born Sept. 28, 1950, in Sanger, Calif., to Harold and Maxine Loyd.

Ronnie grew up all over California, graduating from South High School in Bakersfield. That was only after he had been there for five years and with a 1.4 GPA. He later received an associate's degree in business.

Ronnie married his first wife, Pamela, on April 18, 1970. They were blessed with two sons, Ricky and Michael.

Ronnie surrendered to the ministry in 1971. He pastored in California and Idaho.

In 1993, Ronnie went to work for Pizza Hut in Idaho as a cook. He moved up the ladder to a manager. In 1993, Ronnie was promoted to the Prineville Pizza Hut and spend 13 years employed by Pizza Hut in Oregon and Idaho before retiring in 2006.

On May 12, 2007, Ronnie married Lucinda Seaquist. In 2012, Ronnie adopted River Seaquist.

Ronnie enjoyed fishing, camping, singing and being around family and friends. Most of all, Ronnie loved telling people about Jesus Christ.

Ronnie is survived by: his wife, Lucinda; sons Ricky (Teresa) Loyd, Michael Loyd, and River Loyd; stepson Keeton (Shadoe) Seaquist; brother Donald (Becky) Loyd; sister Lynn (Roland) Vickers; foster sisters Jana, Bobbie, Jennette, and Lydia; father- and mother-in-law Dareld and Diana Seaquist Sr.; sisters-in-law Kim (Tom) Chioine, Julie (Donnie) Dilley, and Donna Smith; brother-in-law Dareld (Barb) Seaquist Jr.; uncle Billy (Valorie) Parker; aunt Irene Odem; four grandchildren, Orrin and Emma Loyd, and Madis and Oaklynn Seaquist, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, in Caldwell, Idaho, at 10 a.m.

Ronnie's wishes were that anyone attending wear something red.

We would like to give a big "thank you" to Horizon Home Health and Hospice of Mountain Home and Caldwell, Jennifer Smith, Doc B and Margo.
