And we remember...

Matiu Call from the City of Trees Pipes and Drum team in Boise plays Amazing Grace during an impromptu performance at the corner of East Jackson and North Main streets on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

The Mountain Home resident held a similar performance at Mountain View Cemetery that morning to pay tribute to those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks against the United States on Sept. 11, 2001. Wednesday marked the 12th anniversary of the attacks.

I think the last sentence should be "This week marks the 12th anniversary of the attacks."

  • Matiu Call played the bagpipes at the cemetary this past Memorial Day for my daughter, Audrey. He's a good, good man.
