Alva Beatrice (A. Bea) Kline, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, in Mountain Home, after a prolonged illness.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Born July 27, 1952, she was the precious daughter of Athley K. and Alva B. Kline of Chambersburg, Pa. Born and raised in Chambersburg, Bea graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1970 and went on to join the United States Air Force on Sept. 18, 1970.

After 30years of distinguished and honorable service to her country, she retired as a chief master sergeant on Sept. 25, 2000. Her accomplishments included over 38 major medals and awards.

She was currently employed by the Elmore County Sheriff's Department.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Athley P., of Chambersburg, Pa., sisters Alynne K. McLeod, of Wake Forest, N.C., Anne Kline-Rotz and her husband, Eugene, of Shippensburg, Pa., and brother Alan K. and his wife, Kelly, of Chambersburg, Pa., eleven nieces and nephews, along with ten great-nieces and nephews who will also miss her love, kindness and generosity.

The family would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank Bea's "Mountain Home family," those friends and co-workers in the Mountain Home area for their selfless and compassionate caring, support and love of Bea.
