Support local firefighters

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

Good morning to all my friends and family out there. The last couple days I've been trying to figure out what I can do for the firefighters that have been working on little sleep, food, and water and so hard to save our farming/ranching/Air Force town. As a stay at home mom my initial action is to immediately start making these town heroes homemade fresh baked goods, but to me that's not enough. While in our local oreillys I had the pleasure of meeting one of our volunteer firefighters. I asked him what more could I as a citizen of this town do to help. He responded with after being up for 32 hours they appreciate nothing more than baked goods. I feel that if the whole town were to assist in showing appreciation for what these men and women do it would help make a tighter community. Please do so by accessing the wildlandfirefighters.com website to see what you guys can do to help the firefighters and their families you can also call the forest service for more information.. All donations of water, Gatorade, and essentials to help with comfort and health are always accepted.
