Johnnie "Tree" Fred Ogletree, 63, of Mountain Home, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, June 21, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home. Per Tree's request, everyone wear your jeans.

Tree was born in Stamford, Texas, on July 8, 1949, the son of Monroe and E. Olena Ogletree.

He served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired in Mountain Home. Tree loved woodworking, cooking for family and friends and going camping.

On June 4, 1989, Tree married the love of his life, Mary A. Gipson.

Tree is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Mary, three children, Kyle and his wife, Sarah Ogletree, Amber Ogletree, Kira Paris-Ogletree, his sister, Midge, and her husband, Frank Nelson, daughter-in-law Shelia Ogletree, seven grandkids, Ayla and her husband, Jason, Chalandrea and her husband, Anthony, Maria, Kyle Jr., Uryeah, Malaya, Taushlyn, four great-grandkids, Aiyhannah, Elyjah, Kaelahni and Bryson, plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Janice and brothers Ted Barnes and Ralph Barnes.
