Ruth L. Bailey passed away at the age of 93 on May 16, 2013, at St. Luke's Elmore Hospital in Mountain Home.

A graveside inurnment service will be held Monday, June 3, at noon at Mountain View Cemetery, in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Ruth was born on July 25, 1919, in Sagan, Germany. During her early years and during the war time she worked as a train conductor, which took her all over Germany. After the war she was a cocktail waitress in Munich, Germany, where she met TSgt. Woodrow Little, whom she married in 1953.

In 1954, Ruth and her husband, Woodrow, and son Edgar Junger, came to the United State where Woodrow was assigned to Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.

Woodrow passed away of a heart attack in Greenland in 1956. She late married Ernest Bailey, who also passed away.

In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

In 1985, she moved to Mountain Home to be closer to her son, Edgar, and his wife, Erika, grandson Ralph Junger and his wife, Nancy, granddaughter Ramona Junger-Lydell and her husband, Terry, and son Ben and great-granddaughter Chelsea Marie Junger.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Rudi.
