Learning to fly

Hosted by the city's parks and recreation department, dozens of youngsters -- and the young at heart -- turned out in force to test their flying skills against the morning's stiff and unpredictable breeze.

Youngsters that arrived at the park without their own kite received a free one courtesy of Jackson Street Sweets.
