Tessa Pachner and Emma Wenger picked up a girls' doubles win at state, but were eliminated in three matches in the girls' doubles 4A State Tennis Tournament at Capital High School.

The number one girls' doubles team from Mountain Home had qualified for the state tourney with its sixth-place finish at the District III 4A Tournament. The two seniors opened against the team of Taylor and Taylor from Wood River and lost 2-6, 4-6.

They then faced the team of Johnson and Johnson from Bonneville and eliminated the Idaho Falls pair from the tourney with a 6-1, 6-1 win.

That put them against the Sandpoint #1 team of Rockwell and Search. They lost to the north Idaho duo 1-6, 1-6 to be eliminated from the tournament.
