Retired nurse offers her praise of peers at hospital

Dear editor:

I recently retired from Elmore Medical Center. I worked as a registered nurse from 1995 to April 2013.

I will miss working in Elmore Medical for many reasons.

I was impressed with the level of skilled, professional people with whom I worked, even with all the changes over the years that the hospital went through.

I found working at a rural hospital was the most gratifying and rewarding job I've ever had. All the departments in the hospital always made taking care of the patients their highest priority.

I especially want to thank all my closest co-workers who were there during some of the toughest times of my life.

I will miss you all and hope for the best for all of you in the future.
