Why is money carry so important?

Dear editor:

Can somebody please tell me what kind of world we live in when everything revolves around money?

When some folks don't have the money for an expensive lawyer, a judge can decide the people who have a lawyer must be great people, without even knowing them.

In what kind of world, would someone think it's OK to rip a three-year-old from his mothers' arms, and extended family that has loved him from the minute he was born, and hand him over to a stranger because he has money for a lawyer?

In what kind of world, what kind of person doesn't think of this little three-year-old, suddenly being taken from the only life he's ever known? In whose world is this for the child? Not in my world.
