Wesley Aaron Finch, 20, passed away March 16, 2013, due to a fatal traffic accident in San Antonio, Texas.

Wesley was born March 27, 1992, to Robin and Lisa Finch at the Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash. He lived in Tacoma until he was three years old and then moved to Mountain Home, Idaho, until he was 16, when he moved to Burley, Idaho.

Wesley was a fun loving kid. He was always able to put a smile on his parents' and friends' faces with his jokes and playful antics. He had a huge heart and brought happiness to everyone he met. He would stop and help whenever he would see someone struggling. He even pulled a drowning man to safety at Dierkes Lake, Idaho.

Nothing could slow Wesley down. As a child, when he broke his foot he would kneel in a little wagon and still scoot all over the neighborhood. Later in life, he broke his foot again but it still didn't stop him from riding his motorcycle.

Wesley loved playing soccer when he was younger and moved onto football and wrestling during his teen years. He enjoyed teaching younger wrestlers how to improve their skills.

He would go for walks around Mountain Home with his friends and loved just hanging out with them.

When he turned 18, he joined the Idaho Army National Guard. He loved being in the Army and considered joining full time.

He decided to move to San Marcos, Texas, in December 2012 to be with some Army buddies from basic training. He was working construction for Roadway Striping, Inc., and loved his job and where he was at.

Wesley is survived by his parents, Robin and Lisa Finch (Burley), brothers Robin Finch Jr. (Ogden, Utah) Thomas Finch (Twin Falls ID.) Joshua Foale (Mountain Home), sisters Laura Finch and Rebecca Finch (both from Burley), aunt Margaret Finch (Burley), uncle Rory (Jeannie) Finch (Afton, Wyp.), uncle Dick Finch Jr. (Everett, Wash.), niece Addison Finch (Ogden, Utah) and Godchild Arabella Foale (Mountain Home).

Wesley was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Ruth Finch (Burley), and grandmother Linda Wilcox (Mena, Ariz.).

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Pella 2nd Ward building, 160 W. 400 South, in Burley. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn with military rites provided by the National Guard.
