Two extra positions open for hospital board election

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

Two additional positions have opened up for election to the Elmore County hospital district's board of directors.

Two positions had been announced as being up for election in the May 21 voting, but two more have been added following the resignations of Dr. John Bideganeta and Bill Ringert. Cindy Terriberry-Kencke and Melanie Bethel were appointed to fill the vacancies but the two appointees will need to be elected to office in order to fill out the remainder of the terms of office.

Cindy Terriberry-Kencke's term will expire in May 2017. Melanie Bethel's term will expire in May 2015.

All four of the positions are at-large positions.

The deadline to file for any position in the May 21 election (these or any other local taxing districts that may elections) is this Friday, May 22. Contact the clerks of the taxing districts for candidacy information.

  • MHresident doesn't realize elections are decided by the voters. Whining about the outcome 2 month before the election seems like a Fox News tactic to lessen the blow the Nut Job Paty may take. Got any suggestions on who to vote for MHresidnet or is that stretching your intellect a little too much. "Shilles", communists and socialists will win all 4 seats. The hospital will then only serve communist blood to patients.
