Santa to highlight Friday's Parade of Lights

Santa makes his first official appearance in town Friday evening during this year's Christmas Parade of Lights. In this photo from last year, he learns about these two girls' wish lists.

Long-standing traditions and new ideas will return to Mountain Home this week as the city's chamber of commerce presents its annual Christmas Parade of Lights.

Scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Friday next to the Fire Station 1, the parade will mark the first "official" appearance of Santa Claus in Mountain Home.
