Hospital wellness day

Nancie Brininger, a registered nurse with Elmore Medical Center, teaches basic CPR to Oakley and David Tennant and Liam Lewellen during the medical center's annual health and wellness day Saturday morning.

Held at the Elks Lodge in Mountain Home, the comprehensive community education event featured a variety of health- and wellness-related vendor booths along with different clinical services.

Larissa Snow, a medical student attending the College of Western Idaho, draws blood from Ronette Baugh -- one of 118 individuals that participated in the cholesterol screenings.
