District to send out yearly Federal Survey Cards

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

The Federal Survey cards that will be sent home with students on Oct. 16 have a major impact on the finances of the school district.

Based on the cards returned to the district, the federal government will determine how many students come from families with at least one federal employee in the household.

Typically, those will represent people who work for the Forest Service or BLM or other federal agencies, but in Mountain Home it primarily involves families with at least one servicemember stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base or Gowen Field in Boise.
