Patricia Marie Kibe, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior on Saturday, July 28, 2012.

Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Patricia was born in Snohomish, Wash., on July 6, 1947 to Thomas and Louise Mashburn.

She married Norman Kibe, Jr. on July 20, 1961 in California.

Norman, Patricia and their three children moved to Mountain Home, where they welcomed three more children into their family.

Patricia was a stay-at-home mom until she started roofing houses with her husband. After 14 years of roofing, she started working for the school district, cooking at North Elementary School and driving a school bus. Patricia began working at Kim's haircuts and was there for 10 years.

When Pat wasn't cutting hair, she enjoyed spending time in her yard as well as working in her garden, things she did to pass the time with Norm. She also loved sewing quilts and clothes for her grandchildren. Pat loved to draw. She was an amazing artist, gifted with a beautiful talent.

Pat was a woman of God, believing all things are possible through him. She had an amazing, strong faith that God would fix all problems that would come her way. Her favorite passage was: 1st Peter 5:7 "casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you." Pat had a thirst for knowledge, eager to learn all she could of God's word, she couldn't learn enough. She didn't just preach the words, she spoke them. Patricia tried to live the words every day as well.

Pat and Norm spent a great deal of time in church praising the Lord and bringing people into the church. They used to sing special songs in church and Pat, always being so touched by the words of the songs she sang, would always start crying and Norm would have to jump in and finish up the song.

Pat had such a passion for life that everyone around her was drawn to her and wanted to be a part of her life. She had such a huge heart that she would welcome you with open arms into her home and life no matter if you were family, a friend or a stranger. She would help anyone in any way she could.

Patricia was the most amazing mom and grandmother. She loved her kids with all of her heart. She would always make sure that her children had everything they needed and always told them she loved them every chance she got. Pat would always offer more then she would keep for herself. Her beauty was something shone from within, lighting the paths she crossed.

A wonderful wife, mother, grandma, friend and mentor, her love has shaped the lives of the family she raised. Patricia left not only memories of love and happiness, but a legacy of love behind.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Norm, daughters Tina Brown, Luella and her husband, T.J. Larson, Sherry Lynn and her husband, Kenneth Cooper, sons Norman and his wife Delihla Kibe, Frank and his wife Samantha Kibe, Howard and his wife Leann Kibe and 20 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and a brother.

They say angels don't walk on earth but God lets his most precious angels live among us. We love and miss you. Rest in peace.
