Owen DeLon Aiken, 81, passed away quietly, Sunday, July 8, 2012, at his daughter's home in Henderson, Nev.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1150 N. 8th East St. in Mountain Home, with a viewing from 10-10:45 a.m. and funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Owen was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He served in the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy and was a member of the National Guard. Owen also worked for civil service as an instructor of electronic warfare.

He is survived by his brothers, Raymond of Modesto, Calif., Donald and his wife, Judy, of Idaho Falls, five children, Bob and his wife, Cheryl, of Boise, Darwin and his wife, Jo, of Bremerton, Wash., Cathy and her husband, Jay Wilson, of Henderson, Nev., Vern Aiken of Boise, Jennifer and her husband, Jim Flood, of Roy, Utah, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen, in 1990, his second wife, Jill, in 2009, and both his parents.
