Oasis quick response unit stands up

After more than two years of planning and training, volunteers from the Oasis Quick Response Unit began operating from the rural community on Friday.

Having this unit readily available will prove invaluable during emergency situations by providing faster on-scene care while relaying patient information to county dispatchers, according to local officials.
