Local students tackle Mars Rover challenge

More than a dozen students from Hacker Middle School tested their ability to build and drive made-from-scratch robots during a yearly competition May 11.

Held at the University of Idaho's Engineering Expo campus in Moscow, the middle school sent three teams to this year's Mars Rover event to take on 40 teams of fifth and sixth grade students from across the state.
