County approves solar farm extension

Two years after it approved Elmore County's first solar energy farm, the county's planning and zoning commission approved plans to complete this alternative energy complex.

During a public hearing May 2, the eight-person commission unanimously approved conditional use permits for a pair of 20 megawatt generating facilities off the Grand View Highway southwest of Mountain Home.
