Time to celebrate

Thursday, May 10, 2012

Members of the Elmore County Hispanic Organization's dance team step to the beat as they showcase their moves during a Cinco de Mayo celebration Saturday afternoon in Mountain Home.

Held at Stardust Plaza, the fiesta was the first time the county organization had hosted Cinco de Mayo here since 2007.

In addition to games, refreshments and mariachi music, the event featured an adults-only dance later that evening at Peppermint Tree Productions.

Younger members of the Elmore County Hispanic Organization's dance team go for a pony ride prior to the first performance of the afternoon.
