And we remember...

Members of the Mountain Home community render honors as a hearse containing the remains of a soldier from Idaho passes beneath the North 18th Street bridge Friday morning.

More than 130 people, including local military veterans and soldiers as well as airmen from Mountain Home Air Force Base, lined the bridge in a show of solidarity in memory of Army Sgt. Chris J. Workman. He was one of four soldiers killed in a helicopter crash April 19 in Afghanistan.

  • Way to go Mountain Home! Great Job! Well deserved, gave me goosebumps / chills just seeing all the support for the veteran / fallen heroes.
