Local basketball sharpshooter places at natl hoop competition

Marcus Egusquiza competed in the Elks 40th National Hoop Shoot Finals in Springfield, Mass., on Saturday, April 28th, 2012.

He was accompanied by his parents, Mitch and Brenda Egusquiza, big brother Jake and Mountain Home Hoop Shoot Chairman Larry Fincher and wife, Brenda.

It was the final episode in an adventure that started five months ago with practice, practice and more practice and a dream.
