Vote for Corbus

Wednesday, May 2, 2012

Dear editor,

My wife and I have lived in Mountain Home and raised our children here for the past 26 years. I have known Bud Corbus since coming to Mountain Home as well as his parents and his brother whom we employed on our farm for many years.

Bud is running for County Commissioner on the Republican ticket, and we need a man like Bud that has integrity and commitment to take on any endeavor he chooses. Bud has traveled every highway and dirt road in Elmore County doing work for many of the people in our county.

Besides Bud's commitment to tasks at hand, Bud has a tremendous mind for innovation. There were times I was unable to find a solution to a problem on the farm, and Bud was able to fabricate and manufacture a solution.

Bud has been a private business owner for over 25 years, employing many people. He has dedicated his life for decades to protecting the people of Mountain Home as a volunteer fire fighter and is currently Assistant Chief of the Mountain Home Fire Department.

Bud has been married to his wife, Edie, for 28 years and has two children. Sometimes what we need is just a good man who trully cares about the people in our county.

We believe we would be hard pressed to find a better man for the job.
