Road work to begin on I-84

Work is scheduled to start Monday to repair a 25-mile stretch of I-84 between Mountain Home and Hammett.

Involving both sides of the highway, the project includes replacing joint seals and sealing extensive cracks on the roadway in addition to replacing deteriorated concrete slabs, according to Reed Hollinshead, a spokesperson with the Idaho Transportation Department.
