Talkin' Tigers set records

A student from Mountain Home High School's speech and debate team claimed her second consecutive title during the state's annual gathering of motivational speakers.

Joann King was the state champion in dramatic interpretation during the competition, held in Rexburg, with the Talkin' Tigers speech and debate team finishing fifth out of 44 schools represented at the state event.

The Talkin' Tigers had 28 students qualify for the competition, setting a school record.
