County fair group to host yearly rodeo royalty event

In a change of tradition, representatives with the Elmore County Fair and Rodeo will hold its annual rodeo queen pageant May 26.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. that day at the county fairgrounds in Glenns Ferry.

This year marks the first time since the pageant's return in 2010 that the competition will run separate from one hosted by the Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo organization.
