Golf team places at tourney

The Mountain Home Tigers golf team came in second behind the Columbia Wildcats during a conference golf match April 2 at Hunters Point Golf Course.

Columbia won the match, shooting a 155 team score. Mountain Home carded a 180 while and Emmett shot a 196.

Brent Sexauer led the Tiger golfers, shooting a 41 to remain six strokes behind the leader. Andrew Curtis was two strokes back at 43. Clint Butori and Jake Egusquiza both carded a 48 with Matt Hurley finishing with a 53.

The Tiger golfers traveled to Falcon Crest on Tuesday for a make-up match before they host the Mountain Home Invitational on Thursday, April 12.
