Candidacy filing ends March 9

Filing ends March 9 for those planning to run for public office during the upcoming May primary elections.

Starting Monday, the county began accepting petitions for those interested in vying for two seats on the board of county commissioners, a precinct committee representative seat as well as the county sheriff and prosecutor positions.
