Mildred Cynthia (Cyndy) Cole, 62, formally of Mountain Home, Idaho, died on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, in Riverside Calif., from complications related to cancer.

Cyndy was born July 21, 1949, in Eureka Springs, Ark. She attended schools at the Mountain Home Air Force Base and in Mountain Home, and graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1967.

Following graduation, Cyndy moved to Sunnymead, Calif., and remained in the Riverside/Moreno Valley area for the remainder of her life.

Cyndy was a caring, good-hearted person whose purpose in life was to help people and spend time with family and friends. She focused her life on family, a small circle of friends, her church and a few select civic activities. She was active in the Moreno Valley Lioness Club, Guide Dogs of the Desert, and the Christ Community Church in Moreno Valley, California.

Those Cyndy touched were lucky to have been blessed by her warm friendly smile, caring nature and love of life. In keeping with her character, Cyndy made a gift of her whole body through Science Care of Phoenix, Ariz.

Cyndy was preceded in death by her mother, Lutie Bell Cole, and father, Melvin Ray Cole. She is survived by her sister Beulah Elaine (Becky) Macumber, brothers Douglas Cole and Alan Cole, Alan's wife Janet, her dearest friend Lynn Howarth, one niece, four nephews and step-mother Pat Cole, all whom will miss her dearly. A memorial service was held on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, in Moreno Valley, Calif.
