Hoop sharpshooter earns state title

Two weeks after he propelled his way to the top of the regional finals, a Mountain Home basketball sharpshooter went on to become the state's best during the Idaho Elks hoop shoot tournament.

Marcus Egusquiza sank 24 of his 25 free throw attempts to win top honors in his division during the event, held Saturday in Rupert.
