Medical center set to host yearly weight loss event

Looking to help people fight the "battle of the bulge," Elmore Medical Center's community health center plans to host a 12-week weight loss challenge starting Friday.

Scheduled to run through the week of April 23, the program encourages fun among participants in a competition similar to the television show "The Biggest Loser."
