History buff finds antiques along local trails

Ray Corbus shows off some of the objects he's found over the years hiking the county's trails, including a toy pistol made from glass.

Ray Corbus likes to walk the old historic trails and the hidden nooks and crannies of Elmore County.

In the process, he's collected a museum's worth of odd artifacts he's found on the surface, or dug up (with permission) on private land.

It's led him to develop a rich knowledge of the history of Elmore County and how each of those pieces he's found fit in.
