Master gardener course scheduled

A new Master Gardener class is beginning.

Many people are wanting to get back to the basics of life, seeking a more private and less hectic lifestyle for their families, officials said.

Interest in horticulture and organic sustainable gardening has grown tremendously. "We are finding that people who buy several acres of land often find themselves overwhelmed with the task of turning their plot of land into a sustainable living homestead," said a spokesperson for the Elmore County Master Gardener program.
