Republic Services clarifies city's recycling process

Republic Services uses color-coded stickers to indicate which of two routes -- the black route shown here and the separate orange route -- its customers are assigned to as part of its upgraded recycling service in Mountain Home. A misprint that appeared in a customer information packages incorrectly identifies the black route with a blue designation.
A misprint in its yearly calendar prompted a local company to clarify the new process its uses to manage the city's recycling program.
The issue involves the color coded route plan that Republic Services adopted for its upgraded collection service that started here earlier this month.
