One went down to the wire, the other was a blowout, but both ended up as losses for the Mountain Home Lady Tigers, who dropped road games at Twin Falls and Jerome last week.

Back came the Lady Tigers, holding Twin Falls to just one fourth-quarter point, but they still fell short, 42-40.

Keesha Janis-Gibson and Courtney Christiansen both scored in double figures, with 15 and 10 points, respectively, but from there, the scoring dropped to four points apiece for Teresa Fredell, Tessa Pachner and Selena Foster and three points for Hailey Belt.

Jerome 55

Mountain Home 33

A 35-12 advantage for Jerome in the second half, including a 19-3 edge in the third quarter, wiped out a Mountain Home lead at halftime as the home Lady Tigers of Jerome rolled to a 55-33 win over Mountain Home last Friday afternoon in Jerome.

Mountain Home trailed 12-6 after a quarter but fought to a 21-20 lead at the half.

Then came a disastrous third quarter where Mountain Home scored just three points, while Jerome tallied 19 to go up 39-24.

Mountain Home was not able to rally in the fourth, falling 55-33.

Keesha Janis-Gibson led the way in scoring for Mountain Home with ten points. Marissa Streeter added seven, Madi Karst scored four, Courtney Christiansen and Alexis Berry had three each, Hailey Belt and Tessa Pachner both added two and Teresa Fredell and Selena Foster each had one point to round out the scoring.

The Lady Tigers fell to 3-9 on the season. They started the second time through their conference schedule this week, playing at Columbia Tuesday night and hosting Nampa on Friday night.
