City begins looking at tightening up peddler licenses

Rules and restrictions for merchants, church organizations and school groups knocking on people's doors are expected to change under a revised law currently under review by the Mountain Home City Council.

Last updated in 2002, the transient merchant ordinance came under closer scrutiny in recent months as the council aired concerns with certain sections of the current city code.

  • You are absolutely right fubar, but it just crossed my mind they might be out of natural gas. Next time hand the panhandler a can of pork & beans. That should get them on their way :-).
