She married Robert Lewis McCoy, Jr. on Feb. 13, 1965.

She worked for Anderson Insurance where she was an office manager and health insurance agent. Geri enjoyed going to work every day and truly loved what she did. She liked having the opportunity to meet new people and to be able to help them.

Geri spent over 25 years on the Idaho Golf Couple's Association board. She also belonged to many organizations such as TOPS and Special Olympics and loved to volunteer in the community. Geri also helped other people with cancer.

On a nice sunny or even a just an overcast day you would often find Geri on the golf course playing a few rounds of golf or hunting for treasures at garage sales. She was so loving and kind hearted, would gladly help with anything or do anything for you. Geri truly cared from the heart and was always willing to take charge and get the ball rolling. She loved to laugh and have a good time with her grandkids. Rarely did you ever see her with a frown on her face.

Geri was an active member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Mountain Home. She taught CCD classes, did readings during church, was a Eucharistic Minister and did any other job that she could help with.
