A former local student and athlete has been selected by a search panel to be the next varsity head football coach at Mountain Home High School.

Aaron K. Rodney, a 1994 graduate of Mountain Home High School, accepted the offer last Thursday night, after the panel of nine selected him over seven other applicants.

Rodney, who has coached at the college level in Oklahoma, South Dakota and Missouri, said he is excited about returning to Mountain Home and hopes to build the program into a state contender.

  • Maybe Aaron will the catalyst that we have been needing to get back to winning some games. Maybe he can inspire some of those BIG boys that sit in the stands, to get out and show what the real Tiger spirit is ! We also need some wins to get the fans back to being inspired too !
