Woman sentenced in restaurant theft

Wednesday, December 21, 2011

A Mountain Home woman convicted of stealing money from a local restaurant was sentenced to 60 days in jail during her hearing in district court Monday morning.

Sara Griffin will also spend five years on supervised probation in addition to paying restitution to the owners of the restaurant where she once worked.

In October, Griffin entered a written plea to one count of grand theft in connection with the crime at the Taco John's restaurant. A separate burglary charge against Griffin was dismissed.
