Local business owner earns state title

Representatives from the Idaho State University's College of Business present Alan Bermensolo with the Idaho business leader of the year award during a brief ceremony at his Mountain Home business. The yearly honor recognizes business leaders who demonstrate outstanding business and professional ethics while contributing significant support to community, civic and education outlets. For 35 years, he's run one of Mountain Home's most profitable companies while dedicating thousands of hours every year to serve others in the community.

On Monday, those efforts gained state-level recognition as Alan Bermensolo was selected as the Idaho Business Leader of the Year.

Hosted by Idaho State University's College of Business, the yearly honor recognizes business leaders who demonstrate "outstanding business and professional ethics while contributing significant support to worthwhile community, civic and education activities," according to university officials.
