Menagerie of 4-H Projects

Thursday, December 15, 2011

A new 4-H club has been formed in Elmore County. Its name is Mountain Home Menagerie because club members can work on many different kinds of 4-H projects except large animals according to Kathy Chick, club leader. We held our first meeting on October 29 of this year. We selected our club name and elected officers. The officers are Victoria Bartlett, President; Kamille Bartlett, Vice-President; Cassidy Dearing, Secretary and Photographer; Matthew Bartlett, Reporter; and Hanna Bartlett, Sergeant of Arms. Our next meeting in November was to make cookies for the military people. In December we had a food drive for the Food Bank. Our next meeting will be on January 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Mrs. Chick's house. For more information about our club or to join us, call Mrs. Chick at 832-1949.
