A fresh beginning

Several students from the local school volunteered their time to give the local youth hangout a fresh coat of paint during a class project that started Monday afternoon.

The painting effort was one in a series of projects held in recent months to give the facility a needed facelift. Located at 130 North Main Street across from Railroad Park, the after-school outlet recent expanded its hours to open from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 3 to 10 p.m. Friday. Photo by Brian S.
