Support for ill child 'unbelievable'

A "puzzle" piece of art at the Friends of the NRA banquet helped raise money for Trueba's expenses.

Marcella Trueba says the outpouring of support for her grandson, Jack, son of Des and Mike Trueba, "has been totally unbelievable," since 18-month-old Jack was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on Oct. 10.

"The outpouring of love and support to our family is so appreciated. Thank you is not enough," she said.

Throughout the community, fundraisers have been put together to help the family with Jack's medical bills as he undergoes an estimated three years of chemotherapy.
