City approves Cedar Crest expansion

This $3 million addition would expand the existing Cedar Crest facility by another 20,500 square feet and includes an option to add two more wings for even more bed spaces.

Three years of planning took a significant step forward as city officials approved plans to build a full-time nursing home in Mountain Home.

Currently referred to as the Cedar Crest Skilled Nursing Center, it would connect to the existing assisted living center on South 15th East Street but operate as a separate facility with its own crew of registered nurses and administrative staff.
