City's proposed wastewater fees hike may change

Plans to increase monthly wastewater fees remained on hold as city leaders unveiled a last-minute proposal that could ease costs for some residents.

During a public hearing Sept. 26, the city council recommended increasing the amount of wastewater covered in the basic rate by an additional 1,000 gallons per month.
