School superintendent offers update on district

Supt. Tim McMurtrey will discuss how the Mountain Home School District is handling the state budget cuts and mandates from the 2010-2011 Legislative session during a meeting, hosted by the Elmore County Democrats, on Monday, Oct. 17, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Mountain Home Public Library.

He also will give a preview of what to expect in the future and offer ways the public can help support Mountain Home schools.

The meeting is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.
