Anderson seeks reelection to city council

Incumbent city councilman Russ Anderson, 54, is seeking re-election to a second four-year term in the Nov. 8 municipal elections.

Anderson, who has lived 49 years in Mountain Home, is married to his wife, Lisa. They have two children, who, like their parents, are graduates of Mountain Home High School.

Currently an equipment operator for the Mountain Home Highway District, he also has worked in the ranching, logging and construction industries over the years.

    This is to funny; after his part in the loss of 20k plus to the church scandel, the stones someone has to ask for another term is almost funny. Why doesn't he just say what he really means "re-elect me so I can blank you some more".

  • Actually, if you read all of the information available with regards to the "church" lawsuit, you would have known that there was no other appropriate response to save money. Lawyers are not free, at least for the City. Otherwise, we would have spent even more money trying to fight a losing battle!

    Oh so the city council did us a favor by the taxpayer only had to fork out 20K extortion payout. Maybe I should thank them for their incompetence.
