Oasis Fire District marks completion of new station

The station will hold both of the department's engines and a brush truck.

Two months after it broke ground on its first official fire station, the Oasis Fire District celebrated a major milestone this month as construction ended on the building's outer shell.

Measuring nearly 1,500 square feet, the station will eventually hold both of the department's engines and a third brush truck, said Bill Kelly, president of the Oasis district commission.
