Jaime Guerrero, 25, of Glenns Ferry was arrested and booked into the Elmore County Jail Sept. 15 on felony charges of drug trafficking in methamphetamine or amphetamine.

Guerrero was arrested on Sept. 15 by Elmore County Deputy Chris Jessup for suspected possession of more than 400 grams of narcotics. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing and request for bond reduction before Magistrate Judge George G. Hicks on Sept. 30.

Detective Mike Barclay of the Elmore County Sheriff's Office could offer little comment on the case. He did report that the sheriff's office and Idaho State Police are assisting the federal Drug Enforcement Administration in the investigation, which is ongoing.
